Nissan Offers Graphics Package or Cargo Management Systems Free on NV Van
Nissan knows it won't be easy breaking into the commercial vehicle market in the U.S. with the NV. To help attract customers away from competitors like Sprinter and the Transit Connect, the Japanese automaker is offering a complimentary upgrade: either a commercial upfit package or a no-charge exterior graphics package.
The graphics package sounds similar to the options Ford presents to customers of the Transit Connect. On the Nissan - which carries a starting price of $25,570 - Original Wraps will install up to 70 square feet of exterior graphic material.

"We know commercial vehicle buyers customize their vehicles to meet their business needs, and we want to be part of the solution for them," said Joe Castelli, vice president, Nissan Commercial Vehicles and Fleet.
If you don't need to advertise your business on the side of the large NV vans, the commercial upfit package might work better. From a company called Adrian Steel, the upfit package offers a steel cabin/cargo partition with three 44-inch shelving units or a utility rack on the inside or outside of the van.
NV vans come standard with a five-speed automatic transmission and a 4.0-liter V-6 or a 5.6-liter V-8. Should neither free upgrade package appeal to you, Nissan will give buyers a $300 rebate.
